What to do Before Beginning Your Physiotherapy Pilates Adelaide Exercise Classes

Prior to beginning your Pilates journey, your Physiotherapists will undertake a thorough 1 on 1 assessment of you and any conditions you may have.

During your initial Assessment your Physiotherapist will design with you a tailored Pilates program for you which they will then undertake with you in a one on one environment. You will undergo 2-3 sessions of one on one Pilates with your Physiotherapist prior to beginning in a Pilates Exercise class environment, this is to ensure you have a solid grasp of your program, technique and the setup is right for you prior to entering the class environment ensuring you get the most out of your Pilates class session! It is also required by health funds if you intend to claim your sessions back under the fund.

Physiotherapy Clinical Pilates Adelaide Exercise Classes – what can you expect?

Your Physiotherapist lead Clinical Pilates Exercise Class is limited to a maximum of 6 people per class. We do this to ensure the Physiotherapist can monitor and provide feedback to all participants while keeping a close eye on your form when performing your program. It also allows your Physiotherapist to adjust your program to include more difficult exercise and movements as you progress through your sessions and your level improves.

We start by building the core through some lengthening and strengthening exercises associated with the lower back, hips and abs.
