The NDIS Mobile Podiatry System
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS Physio), has been one of the largest changes to the Australian health care system over the last 35 years. The NDIS Podiatry scheme helps to provide approximately 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have a permanent and significant disability, with funding for support and services. The aim of this system is to provide the means that those with disability require to achieve their goals and live an ordinary life.
We can currently help those who are self managed and plan managed participants.
We understand that it can be very difficult to navigate the NDIS process, as such we will spend time with you to establish how everything will work for you throughout your time with us at– we know there is no one size fits all when it comes to disabilities and individually tailored plans are critical to the success of the treatment. Depending on how your funds are managed will dictate how the billing process will work for you, our dedicated administration team will do everything they can to make it as smooth as possible so you can focus on the goals you have set with your Podiatrist.
Plan Managed Salisbury Park Mobile Podiatry NDIS Participants
Plan managed participants just need to provide the details of the plan manager that your funding is distributed through as well as your NDIS number and billing information. We will communicate directly with both your plan manager and support coordinator (and any other relevant health professionals) to ensure we are playing our role as a part of your support team in the most effective way possible.
Self Managed Salisbury Park Mobile Podiatry NDIS Participants
If you are self managed the process is slightly different, you will be able to pay for your appointments using your funding and we will then provide you with all required paperwork and invoices so you can keep track of everything you need for the NDIA. If at any point you require account statements or overviews of your appointments, we will be more than happy to get these for you in a timely manner.
Portal Managed Salisbury Park Mobile Podiatry NDIS Participants
If you are a portal managed NDIS Exercise Physiology participant all we require is your NDIS plan details and we can submit invoices through the NDIA portal. All you need to do is ensure we have a service agreement in place and we can do the rest for you!
Mobile Podiatry NDIS Fees
Specific fees for NDIS patients are set out by the NDIA so that the cost of Allied health services are standardised across Australia. The fee schedule can be found here. Our Podiatry appointment pricing falls in line with the NDIS dictated rates. The type and length of appointment you will require will be worked out with yourself and your Podiatrist to ensure you can achieve your goals. We will arrange a standardised service agreement which will need to be signed and returned as per the NDIS requirements and we are then able to progress from there!
