Largs Bay Jetty

The Largs Bay Jetty has been a popular local spot since the 1800s, and it’s not hard to see why. With stunning ocean views and picturesque sunsets, it’s perfect for a romantic walk or a nice picnic.

Plenty of activities for the more adventurous – from fishing off the jetty to taking a dip in the ocean. And if you’re lucky, you may spot some dolphins frolicking in the water. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the Port Adelaide train station, making it easily accessible for tourists.

Semaphore Foreshore

Another popular spot in Port Adelaide is the Semaphore Foreshore. With a long stretch of sandy beach and plenty of grassy areas for picnics, it’s the perfect place to soak up some sun and relax.

For the more active individuals, the foreshore offers walking and cycling paths and a playground for children. Additionally, nearby cafes and restaurants provide a perfect opportunity to savour a meal while enjoying the splendid views.

Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary

Nature enthusiasts shouldn’t miss the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary in Port Adelaide. With approximately 40 bottlenose dolphins residing in this protected zone, visitors can witness these magnificent creatures from a close vantage point.

You may go for a guided kayak tour through the sanctuary or hop on a dolphin-watching cruise. The best time to visit is in the early morning or late afternoon when the dolphins are most active. It’s a truly unforgettable experience for people of all ages.

National Railway Museum

Time Ball Tower

The Semaphore Carousel

The Semaphore Carousel is a must-visit for families with young children. This beautifully restored carousel has been operating since 1928 and offers a nostalgic yet fun experience.

Located on the foreshore, it’s the perfect spot to take a break from the beach and enjoy a ride on one of its many hand-carved animals. And don’t forget to grab some delicious ice cream from the onsite kiosk. It’s a perfect way to end a day in Port Adelaide.

Garden Island Ships' Graveyard

For a unique and eerie experience, visit the Garden Island Ships’ Graveyard. Once a bustling ship-breaking site, it is now home to numerous rusting ships and boats slowly being reclaimed by nature.

Visitors may choose the guided tour of the island or explore independently. It’s an off-the-beaten-path attraction that glimpses Port Adelaide’s maritime past. See that you wear sturdy shoes and watch out for uneven surfaces.

Mudlangga to Yertibulti Track

For those seeking an outdoor adventure, the Mudlangga to Yertibulti Track is a scenic and peaceful hike through Port Adelaide’s natural landscapes.

Stretching over 7km, this trail takes you through wetlands, mangroves, and salt marshes. Watch for various bird species and other wildlife that call this area home. South Australian Aviation Museum

Lartelare Park

Lartelare Park stands as a concealed treasure in Port Adelaide. This serene park offers an ideal picnic or leisure walk setting, boasting vast grassy spaces and playground amenities.

But what makes this park truly special is the large colony of flying foxes that call it home. Visitors can watch these interesting creatures as they fly through the trees and interact with each other. Be sure to keep a safe distance and not disturb their natural habitat.

Our Clinic has been classified as an essential service to the community. We assist by trying to keep people healthy as possible and out of surgeries and decrease hospital admissions. At Inertia Health Group we are working hard to keep our patients and team members as safe as possible.

Due to our strict infection control procedures we have been deemed a low risk clinic- we have all completed the government COVID -19 Infection Control Risk Course and have implemented new waiting room procedures as well as intensified our cleaning procedures completing these regularly through the day. We have also implemented a virtual health service for those who require advice or assistance and cannot attend the clinic.
